Horokoau/Mount Tasman - East Face
Horokoau/Mount Tasman - East Face
Though somewhat eclipsed by its big neighbor on the same ridge line, Mt Tasman is still one of the highest and most beautiful summits of the Southern Alps. Its East Face, above the Grand Plateau, is a steep skier's paradise - as long as one doesn't mind crevassed glaciers and threatening seracs!
