Seneca Rocks - West Faces

Perhaps the pointiest technical summit in the Eastern United States, Seneca Rocks is certainly one of the best (and only) multipitch venues east of the Mississippi. This improbably thin formation has a long history and a fearsome reputation for sandbagged grades, steep and sustained climbing and occasionally less than perfect rock.

 

Presented on this poster are most of the routes on the west face (the one visible from the road and visitor center), with the notable exception of the Face of a Thousand Pitons, hidden from this angle.
